Naïssam Jalal 'Souffles'

«Souffles» is the tenth album by award-winning French flutist and composer Naïssam Jalal. Conceived as an intimate and inspired dialogue between wind musicians, it stages Naïssam in a series of duets with eight major figures of jazz and improvised music: Archie Shepp, Yom, Sylvain Rifflet, Thomas de Pourquery, Louis Sclavis, Émile Parisien and Robinson Khoury and Irving Acao. Mixing her own breath with that of these exceptional instrumentalists, Naïssam has created eight vibrant duos that mark a new stage in her career, highlighting her talents as a composer, storyteller and improviser.
