About us

With *Landscapes of Eternity*, Naïssam Jalal explores the fundamental link between music, nature and spirituality at the heart of the Hindustani tradition. Travelling alone through North India for several months, she explored landscapes and sacred sites, met masters and musicians, and immersed herself in this unique journey, inviting us to listen to the world in a new way.
From this immersion emerged an intimate, contemplative and profound repertoire, in which the flute becomes the vehicle for an inner journey rooted in the breath of life. This repertoire takes on a new form in its adaptation for a duo with pianist Roberto Negro.

A dazzling flautist, vocalist and prolific composer, Naïssam Jalal stands out for her ability to forge links between different musical cultures and aesthetic fields. She breaks down boundaries and invents a unique language characterised by open and diverse horizons.
Naïssam Jalal has received prestigious awards, including the 2017 Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros, the 2019 Victoire du Jazz (plus three nominations), the 2020 Prix des Musiques d’ICI and the First Prize for Jazz at the 2022 International Songwriting Competition. In 2023, she was also recognised as a Woman of Culture and appointed Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the Minister for Culture.
At the helm of four ensembles, Naïssam Jalal performs on stages across the globe. Through her 11 albums, she has established herself as one of the leading figures on the contemporary jazz scene, unveiling a personal and vibrant musical universe that restores the true meaning of the word ‘freedom’.

A Franco-Italian pianist and composer born in 1981, Roberto Negro blends jazz, contemporary music and interdisciplinary creation. After training in France, he developed a creative world open to collaborations and artistic crossovers. In recent years, he has focused on ambitious and varied projects. In 2023, he premiered the piece Newborn with the Ensemble intercontemporain, marking his interest in large ensembles. In 2023, he released the album Les Métanuits, inspired by György Ligeti, as a duo with Émile Parisien. In 2026, he founded the Godot ensemble and created a solo show, “Pärt and songs”, which blends repertoire, improvisation and song.
